Program Description
A strong nutrition plan is essential to maximize your CrossFit training and make real progress toward your performance, health, and physique goals. CrossFit ATR's Nutrition Coaching is led by Dr. Kim McGrath, certified by the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN), with a PhD in Chemistry from USC and an MBA from UC Irvine.
Dr. McGrath combines a technical understanding of sports nutrition with mindset and habit coaching tools she developed over two decades in corporate business development. She's coached athletes across strength and endurance sports nationwide, including CrossFit athletes and HYROX competitors in San Diego, helping them set new PRs, improve body composition, and build lasting performance habits.
Three program tiers are available, from the self-guided Athlete Nutrition Fundamentals program ($65 initiation plus $10/month) to fully personalized 1-on-1 coaching. Who can join ATR Nutrition?
To join ATR Nutrition, you must be an active ATR member, 18 and older, and have no diagnosed medical conditions that could contradict nutrition programming. If you are uncertain, please first consult with your physician.
What foods can I/can’t I eat in this program?
No foods are “off limits” but we will be focused on wholesome foods that will keep you feeling great in training, support your health, keep your overall energy level up, and help you stay satisfied.
What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?
All the nutrition programs can work within your dietary requirements. No problem if you are vegetarian, vegan, or have specific food sensitivities.
Do the nutrition programs include specific meal plans?
Meal plans are not offered at this time – you have the flexibility to decide what to eat. There is a recommended list of foods, and a large variety of recipes will be shared.
